Enrollment for the Affordable Care Act is open on November 1st. Through December 15th, people can go on healthcare.gov and buy their plan for 2018. Make sure to apply on time! Health insurance coverage will begin January 1st 2018.
To enroll, visit Healthcare.gov. You can create an account, complete an application, and view plans in your area. Make sure to log in and confirm your Affortable Care plan for 2018, even if you have already enrolled. Many plans are changing and some will no longer be available in your area.

- Self employed
- Those not covered by an employer’s insurance
- Those who are enrolled in a health plan, but the benefits have changed
- Those who are enrolled in a health plan, but the premiums are too high
