Jacqueline Piland joined the Eichholz Law Firm in 2014, after practicing for many years in both Georgia and Oklahoma. While in Georgia, Jacqueline was selected for inclusion in 2009 and 2011 as a Georgia Super Lawyers® Rising Stars and in 2013 as an Oklahoma Super Lawyers® Rising Stars, a prestigious recognition that only 2.5 percent of lawyers in the state are selected for each year.
In addition to her Super Lawyers honors, since 2008 Jacqueline has consistently been listed as one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers as well as Top 40 under 40 Trial Lawyers by the American Trial Lawyers Association. In 2013 and 2014 she was chosen and listed with the American Society of Legal Advocates. Jacqueline is also a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum®, known for being one of the most prestigious groups of trial lawyers in the United States. Membership is limited to lawyers who have won million dollar settlements and verdicts. Jacqueline is a member of the Oklahoma Association for Justice, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, Georgia and Oklahoma Bar Associations and the American Trial Lawyers Association.
Jacqueline is not only licensed to practice in all of the courts in the States of Oklahoma and Georgia, but she is also licensed to practice law in the United States District Courts (Northern and Middle District of Georgia, Western District of Oklahoma) and the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit. She currently handles cases concerning personal injuries (slip and falls, auto/motorcycle/atv/trucking collisions, etc.), wrongful death, nursing home abuse/neglect, workers’ compensation and defective products.
Jacqueline completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Central Oklahoma with a B.A. in Political Science and obtained her J.D. in 2001 from Georgia State University. She has written numerous articles concerning various legal areas during this time and has spoken at several CLE’s. Jacqueline is married and is the proud mother of two incredible children. She enjoys coaching her children’s baseball, softball and basketball teams, as well as volunteering at their schools. Jacqueline enjoys tennis, rock climbing, hiking, gardening, reading and most importantly, spending time with her family.
