David Eichholz, Esq
David Eichholz returned to his hometown to join The Eichholz Law Firm after graduating from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2007. Now the Managing Partner of The Eichholz Law Firm, Mr. Eichholz is focused on fighting for individuals and families who have been injured through no fault of own.
Licensed to practice law in the states of Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee, David has a proven track record of success having recovered hundreds of MILLIONS of dollars in compensation for his clients.
An avid Georgia Bulldogs fan and University of Georgia alumni, David’s studious approach to school earned him several honorable recognitions throughout his college years. While obtaining his Bachelor of Arts, he attended the Study Abroad program in Australia at Macquarie University, received an academic scholarship to Tulane University and was inducted to the honors program. Deciding it best to remain mentally engaged that summer, while studying to take the LSAT, he volunteered as a statistician for fellow University of Georgia alumni and former United States Representative John Barrow’s congressional campaign. Even while performing over 140 hours of pro bono work, David Eichholz was a recurring name on the Dean’s Scholar List throughout his attendance at Florida Coastal School of Law where he graduated cum laude in 2007 ranking in the top ninth percentile of his class.
Eager to begin his journey of advocating for justice, he was issued a license to practice law in the State of Tennessee in November of 2007, just 5 months after obtaining his Juris Doctor. He was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in May of 2008 and the South Carolina Bar in September of 2009. David is highly regarded by his peers in the legal community as well as in the courtroom. His admissions include the Supreme Court of Tennessee and all State Courts in Tennessee, United States District Court for Northern, Southern and Middle District of Georgia, Supreme Court of Georgia, Georgia Court of Appeals, United States District Court of South Carolina and Supreme Court of South Carolina.
Often quoting the words of Sarah Caldwell, “Learn everything you can, anytime you can, from anyone you can. There will always come a time you will be grateful you did.” David believes learning and networking with his peers is vital to his success. He frequently attends conferences and is a member of the Savannah Bar Association, Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, South Carolina Association for Justice, American Association for Justice, and Tennessee Bar Association. David’s verdicts and settlements coupled with peer nominations awarded him recognition in the Top 40 Under 40 National Trial Lawyers Association, an invitation-only organization composed of premier trial attorneys that meet stringent qualifications and he is also an active member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a prestigious group of trial attorneys that have won multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements.
David enjoys a challenge and embraces the opportunity of trying to solve complex cases that seem untenable. He has a passion for helping people from all walks of life and when it comes to personal injury, he is relentless in his pursuit of justice for all, proven in a few of his notable settlements:
- $2,000,000 for two siblings who suffered burns and orthopedic injuries after being rear-ended by a commercial vehicle driver.
- $1,000,000 for a client whose car was struck by a falling tree limb.
- $1,000,000 wrongful death of a teenager killed by a logging company’s failure to provide flaggers led to an underride accident.
- $1,000,000 for a client who underwent hip surgery after having a head-on collision with a vehicle.
- $600,000 for a client rear-ended by a bus with very little visible property damage.
With a primary focus on personal injury litigation, attorney David Eichholz is not only dedicated to fighting for the rights of injury victims but also takes pride in social responsibility within his community. David is an annual contributor to numerous organizations throughout the community such as United Way of the Coastal Empire, Rambam Day School, Jewish Educational Alliance, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Savannah’s Safe Shelter and Savannah Authority for the Homeless to name a few. In addition to teaming up with One Blood for quarterly blood drives, he made it his personal mission to support local children suffering with Sickle Cell Anemia and helped sponsor their annual summer trip to Camp New Hope. He anticipates and truly cherishes the opportunity to actively participate in many of the community outreach events that he supports throughout the year such as Savannah Feed the Hungry, Miracle on May Street Toy Drive, and Reach Our Youth Community Christmas Party.
When David is not fighting for justice, you can find him traveling the world with a good book in tow, practicing yoga or playing outdoor sports with friends such as soccer, tennis, pickleball and golf.
