The Eichholz Law Firm will be collecting non-perishable food items and money to benefit the Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia in a joint effort with other local law firms in the 2018 Georgia Legal Food Frenzy. This year’s drive will take place between April 16th – 27th. 1 in 4 children in Georgia are at risk for hunger and over 60% qualify for free or reduced meals at school, but their families often struggle when they are home for summer. The competition helps stock the food banks to meet the need. With every $1 you donate, food banks can distribute $8 in groceries or over 4 meals.
Throughout the next two weeks, employees of the Eichholz Law Firm will come together to donate food to the Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia. “There’s nothing more fulfilling than being able to meet the needs of fellow human beings,” says Daniel Eichholz, “It’s great to know you made a tangible difference in someone’s life.”
Donations made to the Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia help to feed hungry neighbors here in Savannah. Their program serves as a food safety net for children, senior citizens, low-income families and anyone else who may be at risk for hunger in Southern Georgia.
“Anytime The Eichholz Law Firm has the opportunity to give back to our local community, we take it,” says David Eichholz. “The Legal Food Frenzy is the perfect time to donate money and food to help out those less fortunate. We look forward to this drive every year, and it’s a great opportunity for the firm to come together for a great purpose.”
Most needed food items are Peanut Butter, Canned Tuna, Canned Beans, Canned Soups, Stews, Pastas, 100% Fruit Juice, Canned Fruits, Vegetables, Macaroni and Cheese Dinners, Whole Grains, Low Sugar Cereals (boxed).
Everything we raise will stay local and benefit the Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia.
