GM Recalls Vans and SUVs

General Motors Company (GM) has recalled over 6,000 vans and sports-utility vehicles in the U.S. due to a steering issue.

The automaker is recalling certain 2012 Chevrolet Express, GMC Savana, Chevy Suburban, and GMC Yukon XL models because the gear shaft can fracture. This could lead to a loss of steering and increases the risk of an auto accident. GM says that there are no known reports of crashes or injuries related to the steering issue at this time.
