The Eichholz Law Firm Announces 2018 Scholarship Winner

The Eichholz Law Firm is proud to announce the winner of the fourth annual The Eichholz Law Firm Scholarship for Higher Education. The goal of the scholarship program is to help high school students attend college. The scholarship is awarded each year to one area senior high school student.

The winner of the scholarship was Natreece Brooks from Windsor Forest High School. She was chosen due to her passion to help others, her community involvement, hard work, and dedication towards education. She has a 4.0 GPA and will be attending the University of Georgia this fall with a major in chemistry and minor in biology. She wants to be an Obstetrician-Gynecologist.

Natreece is active in her community, and has volunteered at the Veterans Affairs Outpatient Clinic, and sings with the Voices of Unity youth choir at Second Arnold Baptist Church. She also is a Varsity basketball player for Windsor Forest, and Team Manager for the Track team. Natreece also serves as the current President of the National Honor Society, and a participant in Dawn’s Daughter Leadership Academy. She also maintained a job during school, which shows her fierce work ethic. Natreece embodies the values of The Eichholz Law Firm.

The committee was so moved by the entries, that we chose three runner-ups. The runner-ups will receive a $250 gift card to help with their transition to college.

The runner-ups were Jasmine Lin, Mallory Morgan and Aidan Sutherland. Jasmine worked hard to start an after-school piano club for elementary students while attending Savannah Arts Academy and maintaining a 3.9 GPA. She will be studying at Emory University in the fall. Mallory attends South Effingham High School and is active in her 4H club, as well as working with the youth group at Bethesda United Methodist Church. She will be attending Mercer University in the fall. Aidan is attending Georgia State University as a Business Economics major, to allow him to start an LGBT non-profit that will reach out to kids in rural areas. He is passionate about LGBT acceptance and creating a positive change in the world. Aidan is a senior at South Effingham High School.
