The first lawsuit has been filed in the salmonella outbreak that was linked to sushi. The outbreak left more than 100 people sick in 20 states. The lawsuit claims that two Wisconsin women had to be hospitalized for salmonella poisoning after eating tuna rolls at the same restaurant. According to MSNBC, the restaurant got the sushi from Moon Marine U.SA. Corp.  Health officials believe that the outbreak was caused by yellowfish tuna sold by the company.

Both of the women suffered from severe abdominal pain and bloody diarrhea after eating the tainted sushi and had to be treated at the emergency room. Even though the women contracted salmonella weeks ago, they are still recovering from the illness.
