Johnsonville Sausage is recalling packages of turkey sausage with cheese because the product may contain pieces of glove.
The Wisconsin-based company is recalling 13.5 ounce vacuum packages of the “Turkey Sausage with Cheddar Cheese” that has a “Best By” date of Aug. 20 2012 and has the establishment number “EST. P-34224.”
According to WJCL, around 49,000 pounds of sausages is being recalled. There have been no reports of injuries.
The sausage was distributed to the following states: Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Washington and Wisconsin.
