X-Rock, an over-the-counter male sexual supplement has been recalled after government tests showed that some unlisted ingredients posed a threat to consumers. The Food and Drug Administration’s tests found that X-Rock contained sildenafil – an approved drug to treat erectile dysfunction – and a related substance, hydroxythiohomosildenafi. According to CNN, both of these ingredients may interact with nitrates found in some prescription drugs, causing dangerously low blood pressure levels for consumers.
X-Rock is sold online and at retail stores in Nevada, Florida, California, New York, New Jersey and South Carolina. Consumers can return the supplement to the retailer that they purchased it from or by calling (877) 976-2563.
