Neck and back injuries are commonly associated with Georgia car accidents; however, neck and back injuries also occur in motorcycle or truck accidents. Neck and back injury cases may involve the following conditions:
- Compression fracture
- Hemiparesis (weakness on one side of the body)
- Hemiplegia (total paralysis of arm, leg or truck on the same side of the body)
- Herniated disc
- Ruptured disc
Like whiplash, neck and back injuries can result in a lifetime of pain and a reduction in mobility. In severe cases, a neck and back injury may be related to a spinal cord injury that results in paralysis.
