June 10th – 16th is Georgia Paralegal Week!
Paralegals are an essential member of any law firm, and we are especially thankful for all of ours at The Eichholz Law Firm. Paralegals work under the guidance of an attorney to provide support throughout the legal process. They manage and organize cases and conduct legal research. This week we will be featuring a different lawyer each day, and what their paralegals and pod mean to them.
Today, is Janet Cantrell, Esq. Janet attended Middle Georgia State College where she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. She received her Juris Doctor from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia in May of 2016.
“What does my team mean to me? They are the backbone of the workers’ compensation department. They are each caring, loving, compassionate individuals who strive to soak in every ounce of knowledge so that they can serve their clients better. They help me achieve my goal of building one of the best departments at the Eichholz family.
They have worked alongside me and helped me grow into a better lawyer. One of my professors put it this way a lawyer stands and delivers. They stand up for those who cannot do so for themselves. They represent clients with complex legal issues navigate a foreign territory and achieve the best result possible. A good lawyer does this for some of their clients, an excellent lawyer delivers for each and every client but in the end, a lawyer is nothing without the strong backbone of their team of paralegals and legal assistants who can communicate complex legal issues in a language understood by the clientele in a caring and compassionate manner.
My workers’ compensation team means everything to me I am so very proud of each member, Jessica Mack, Karen Werheim and our newest member Leighann Kelly. Kudos to each of you for being the hard working, caring and knowledgeable team that you have become together we stand and deliver!”
Thank you to Janet, Jessica, Karen and Leighann for making The Eichholz Law Firm incredible!
