When Savannah residents purchase a product or food item, they expect that the manufacturers and farmers who supply the products and foods ensure the safety, effectiveness, and proper labeling of all items. Unfortunately, however, countless numbers of items are released for sale to the public when they are defective and thus dangerous for any users or consumers. Emergency rooms in Georgia treat hundreds of patients each day who come seeking medical treatment for the effects of faulty products and unsafe food items.

In the last month, a great deal of recalls have been issued across the United States and, more specifically, throughout the state of Georgia. Savannah residents must pay careful attention to these recalls in order to avoid any injuries or illness for themselves and their loved ones. If you or a family member has suffered any injuries following the purchase or consumption of a product or food item, the Eichholz Law Firm is here to help.

Savannah Product Recalls

Due to the massive influx of product recalls over the last month, the Eichholz Law Firm has put together a comprehensive list of the most widespread recalls from the last several weeks. Victims of faulty products or unsafe food items must carefully document everything in relation to the consumption or use of the recalled item. For instance, any hospital visits specific injuries and illnesses, date of purchase of the items, reaction due to the defect, etc. As a general rule, the more information available, the better the chances of recovering adequate compensation.

Children’s Pajama Sets, Two-Piece and Girls Fleece Pajamas

As of yet, approximately 560,000 children’s two-piece pajama sets are being sold at Target stores across the nation and on their website target.com, from August to November 2012 and sold at a price point of $8 to $13. The pajama sets fail to meet the federal standards for flammability for children’s sleepwear, as they do not meet the requirement of tight-fitting sizes. In addition, girls fleece pajamas sold from August to October 2012 at a price point of $13 should be aware that the flammability requirement has not been met. Any Georgia resident who has purchased these items must return them immediately to Target or visit their website and then click on “Product Recalls” at the bottom of the page.

Milo’s Kitchen Dog Treats
