The Eichholz Law Firm recently held a month-long product drive to help ease some of the burdens on families living in Savannah’s troubled neighborhoods, collecting toiletries, school and cleaning supplies, and more.
While many folks may take these types of items for granted, they can quickly place additional stress on an already-stretched budget.
The drive benefitted Savannah Youth City’s Ignite Change campaign and its goals to both assist lower income families and children in finding helpful resources in Savannah, and to provide them food, essential items, and hope. The program also aims to empower the community’s youth and share the importance of banding together to bring change.
It’s imperative to us at the Eichholz Law Firm that we don’t turn our back on our community when it needs help the most. We are always ready and willing to give back, and collected over 50 pounds of supplies to donate to Ignite Change.
David Eichholz and members of his team pitched in at one of the Ignite Change events and had a blast working with the other volunteers, serving food, distributing lots of household goods, and talking with visitors about other ways Savannah offers to help them change their current situation.
“Giving back is a significant part of our mission at The Eichholz Law Firm. At the end of the day our goal is to help our community, and I hope our donations can make a beneficial impact on someone’s life,” said David Eichholz after the event. “We look forward to continuing our efforts to help those in need, and hopefully contributing in some way to helping them get them back on their feet.”
