Ritalin, known generically as methylphenidate hydrochloride, is prescribed to children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
Ritalin works by drastically increasing the levels of dopamine in the brain, which stimulates attention and motivational circuits that enhance a person’s ability to focus and complete tasks.

- Suicidal tendencies
