david-eichholz-profile-newThe Eichholz Law is once again partnering with Safe Shelter (Savannah’s Center for Domestic Violence) and we are excited to reach out to the community by being the main sponsor and co-coordinator for Safe Shelter’s first Community Resource Fair, we expect it to be significant exposure to help those around us. The event is being held in the gym at West Broad YMCA tomorrowfrom 10AM to 2PM (Saturday, October 18, 2014).
There will be various Savannah-area agencies who will be setting up booths and handing out information to families in attendance. Some agencies include: U.S. Army Recruiters, Wesley Community Center, Economic Opportunity Authority, Savannah Housing Authority, United Way and MORE. There will also be a representative available for attendees to apply for the free government cell phone program

If you would like to participate as a volunteer, it isn’t too late! please let us know as soon as possible. Daniel has graciously approved some time-off to all confirmed volunteers.

Volunteers:

This is a wonderful opportunity to help those in our community. Several organizations will be on hand to inform and connect with those who desperately need their services.

Help is needed in several areas from child care, to general crowd control and simply passing out food.

The event is being held at the Downtown YMCA located at 1110 May Street. Volunteers should report at 9am.

  • Helping attendees sign in at the Registration Table
  • Working the lunch tables
  • Helping out in the children’s area
  • Set-up and Clean-up
  • Passing out flyers prior to the event
  • General assistance, as needed
