Auto accidents are unfortunate and can occur at anytime and any location. A 2015 report found that there were 254.6 million vehicles registered in the United States and that 2.18 million individuals were injured in car crashes. The report also found that the most vehicle fatalities occur in these five U.S. states: California, Florida, North Carolina, Texas, and Georgia.

With Georgia being the 24th largest and 8th most populous state, you can expect a significant amount of crashes, injuries, and fatalities. 14 of Georgia’s counties ranked among the nation’s 100 fastest-growing counties, being second only to Texas. Growing counties can increase the likelihood of car crashes.

In fact, a study found that approximately 70 drivers are hurt in Georgia car accidents every hour.
