Kathryn E. Sherry has been a practicing attorney over 15 years in the areas of personal injury and civil litigation. Kathryn attended Ohio Wesleyan University where she graduated with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Politics and Government. She then attended Ohio Northern University on an academic scholarship where she received her Juris Doctor. After successfully passing the Ohio State Bar exam, Kathryn then passed the West Virginia bar exam.
Kathryn started her own law firm in Ohio upon graduation and continued growing her practice until she moved to Georgia where she became licensed to practice law. As a trial attorney, Kathryn has successfully tried cases throughout Ohio, West Virginia, and Georgia and has presented oral arguments in the Court of Appeals.
During her years of practice, Kathryn was elected president of her local bar Association, was appointed as president of the Public Defender’s Commission which selects the public defenders, and was honored by being named a Fellow by the Ohio Bar Foundation. Kathryn has also taught legal seminars at the local community colleges on a variety of legal topics.
Kathryn enjoys helping the public better understand the legal system and she contributed legal advice in the publication of a book, Did Not, Did Too, that has been used in classrooms to help children understand the justice system.
Throughout her legal career, Kathryn has had numerous high six-figure personal injury settlements.
Kathryn lives in Savannah with her two daughters, Abigail and Amelia, and their two dogs, Ruby and Lola.
